Fish n Chips

Had a pretty hectic week at work sorting out various videoconferencing problems which don't seem to be improving. Thursday was the busiest day of the week, so busy in fact I didn't get chance to have lunch and had to make do with a slice of cake and cup of tea at around 3 in the afternoon.
By the time I left work it was close to 7pm and in all honesty I didn't have the energy to cook. In these circumstances I would normally get Chinese takeaway, but I thought I haven't had fish n chips for ages....so why not pop down to the "Tasty Plaice" on Cowick Street.

Here's the result from my trip to the fish n chip shop.....delish, especially with a nice cold beer!

Revenge of the Sith

Happened to be strolling through town on a Saturday afternoon and noticed these fellas hanging outside the WHSmith shop in the Guildhall promoting the Revenge of the Sith DVD. Thought it would be a good opportunity to grab a few photos, shame Darth didn't shout "Noooooooooooooo!".
